Plank Flooring

Plank Flooring with lengths between 3 feet and 12 feet, and widths up to 6 inches, you will find in this section. Grades of both Character and Select / Clear are offered. You will find domestic species we select only from regions known for growing the best wood species from their area. These hardwood floors of stated lengths are somewhat similar to, commodity flooring you find in distribution that has a shorter length spec of 1 foot to 7 feet. The similarity stops there. The look of a floor without shorts below 3 feet in length is vastly different and well worth the small upgrade in price difference. A higher single lumber grade is used in our floors. The normal commodity version of hardwood flooring uses three of the lowest grades of lumber. We’ll let other sectors, like pallet and crating, have them for better utilization. Our use of a straight higher lumber grade has less grain deviation, less burl, less blemishes, that are normally left behind from cutting and removal of a multitude of defects in lower grade lumber.
