Figured Flooring
Figured Flooring in long length plank floors with lengths of 4’-12’ are represented here. Widths from 3”-7” are available in Select all Sap Wood and Natural Grade in these Figured Floors. Natural Grade has both white Sap wood and darker Heartwood combined. Select all Sap Wood is only white wood in clear Long Lengths, Figured Wood Flooring.
Figured Wood Floors demonstrate rare depth and dimensionality. Curly Maple Flooring exhibits a dramatic change in the individual stripes or lines. As the incident angle of the light is slightly altered, the dark stripe becomes a light stripe, and the light stripe becomes dark. This phenomenon is known as chatoyancy.
